Cherut recently started a wonderful ministry farm in a beautiful location in Flemish Brabant. This Cherut Shelter Farm is a safe place with personalised care and support for women leaving forced prostitution. This is a vital ministry in enabling victims to have a safe location to have a time of refuge and healing being able to prepare for reengaging with the world in a healthy way. Several individuals are already there recovering from their traumatic background and getting new direction for their lives.

I have known Cherut for more than 10 years. I can testify of their diligent, holistic and sensible approach and they demonstrate this in their work. However, as with many other NGO’s they can only keep making a difference through the financial giving of individuals and partners. This is where we come in!

This March my goal is to run a half marathon in Ghent as a fundraiser for the charity Cherut (you can read more here: https://www.cherutbelgium.com/en) This organisation works with and supports victims of human trafficking. They come along side for these individuals and look to offer them feasible opportunities to help them take steps towards freedom.

I’d absolutely love to raise 2750 Euros for them through running this half marathon.

Every euro counts towards sustaining the work for victims of forced prostitution.
